What do you love about SBC?
I love how students can improve their English whilst having so much fun. The lessons are really different and the activities and excursions are amazing!
If you were a student, what SBC subject would you choose to study this Summer?
I would pick Introduction to STEM.
I am a little biased as I have a science degree myself but this course is really interesting. Students do a lot of critical thinking, and the classes are collaborative, so you’ll often be problem-solving with your friends.
As with all of our courses, there is a lot of choice in the lessons, so the students get to pick topics which interest them the most.
What’s your top UK Summer travel tip?
This might not be for everyone, but I’d say to keep a diary of your experiences. Taking just 5 or 10 minutes to write down what your highlights were for the day will be great to look back on after the course is finished (plus its great writing practice!)
What’s your one piece of advice for students this year?
Don’t be worried about travelling to a different country! Everybody feels a little nervous before doing something different, but our staff will take care of you during your stay and you will have a really fantastic time.
