Time to Shine Project
Develop your public speaking skills. Share your passion. Inspire your classmates.
Today, giving great presentations are a vital skill for achieving academic and professional success. Our programmes reflect this by having the ‘art of presenting’ at the heart of their content, and allow you to discover new confidence when using English in public situations.
It’s more than just a chance to enhance your public speaking skills, though; it’s an opportunity for you to develop your ability to communicate clearly in English, and share your passion and subject knowledge with your fellow classmates. Through your presentations, you will become sources of inspiration, and encourage others to delve deeper into your subject.
Time to Shine Project: Young Apprentice
Do you have what it takes to be the next Young Apprentice?
In this exciting project, you’ll channel your entrepreneurial talents by inventing a new product. After creating a working prototype, you’ll brand it with a catchy name and logo tailored to your target audience. But that’s just the start! You’ll also create a 30-second commercial, design promotional materials, and pitch your product and brand to a panel of judges. To add an extra challenge, you’ll perform your advert live. The only rule? No apps allowed!
Throughout this process, you’ll not only develop essential business skills but also demonstrate leadership by managing your team, making decisions under pressure, and showcasing your vision.
