At Dukes Cambridge summer school, you will develop both your practical business skills and 21st Century skills while acquiring the knowledge of the latest trends and practices in business.

Course Objectives
This course is designed to give you a comprehensive understanding of key business concepts, from management and leadership to marketing and finance. By the end of the programme, you will have the skills to analyse business challenges and communicate your ideas effectively in a professional setting. This course is perfect for those with ambitions in business, entrepreneurship, or management roles across various industries.
Course Modules
Module 1: Strategic Management and Leadership
This module introduces you to the core principles of management and leadership. You’ll explore different leadership styles, organisational structures, and strategic decision-making processes. Through interactive workshops and case studies, you will learn how to lead teams, make informed decisions, and navigate the challenges of managing a business in a competitive environment.
Module 2: Digital Marketing and Brand Strategy
In this module, you’ll dive into the world of digital marketing, focusing on how businesses can effectively engage with their target audience in the digital age. Topics include brand development, consumer Behaviour, and the use of digital tools for marketing. How Challenging is Business at Cambridge?
Although the course offers a high level of challenge, our teachers can vary the degree of difficulty depending on the group’s overall proficiency. At SBC we do all we can to provide inclusive learning.
What level of English is required to study Business at Cambridge College?
For this course, participants should have a level of B2 to gain the maximum benefits of the course. Before the summer, your Admissions Manager will send your child(ren) an online placement test to complete. This will help us to ensure that this course is suitable for your child to participate in and benefit from.
Do students receive a certificate?
To acknowledge their achievements each student receives a certificate of completion during our graduation ceremony at the end of the course.
Do students need to purchase any course book materials?
A variety of SBC handouts are given to the students; which are all produced by our academic staff.
What do students need to bring to class?
Students are given an SBC notepad and folder, but should bring their own pens.
Does Business at Cambridge involve any required reading?
Although precourse reading is not necessary in order to participate in the course, it would benefit students to continue improving their English in order to feel more at ease if necessary.
