SBC Gains Maximum Areas of Strength in British Council Inspection

We are elated to announce that our 2018 British Council Inspection report has been released, and now Summer Boarding Courses is officially the UK’s Top-Ranked Multi-Centre Summer School – As ranked by EL Gazette, 2019 – 2023.

SBC celebrates its anniversary this year and what a birthday present! SBC has held British Council accreditation since 2010 and was inspected most recently by the  British Council in July this year.

The EL Gazette analyses British Council inspection reports and ranks UK English language schools based on a school’s quality, levels of child protection, safety of the local area, and price.

The El Gazette has now ranked SBC ‘the very best British Council accredited residential summer school in the UK’, a tremendous recognition of our premium residential summer schools.

The British Council Inspection

The British Council inspected and accredited Summer Boarding Courses in July 2018. The Accreditation Scheme assesses the standards of management, resources and premises, teaching, welfare, and safeguarding under 18s and accredits organisations which meet the overall standard in each area inspected (see www.britishcouncil.org/education/accreditation for details).

This private language teaching organisation offers residential courses in general English for under 18s.

Strengths were noted in the areas of:

Strategic and quality management, staff management, student administration, publicity, premises and facilities, learning resources, academic staff profile, academic management, course design, learner management, teaching, care of students, accommodation, leisure opportunities, and safeguarding under 18s.
